Well it's officially the first day of my Christmas count down, and as ever I am dam well excited. Every year I get a chocolatey Christmas calender, yup that's right, I am 27 and my delightful Nan still blesses me with a calender (oh I love her), but this year I thought I would go the extra step. I went into town trying to find a material calender but typical Betty style I left it rather late so couldn't find anything but then I went into this little and rather quirky shop and I saw these little rustic buckets and immediately knew this was awesome. So with a huge smile and a spring in my step I went and bought lots of nice treats to fill it up with. I got home before the better half and wanted to get it up as a nice surprise for him, so I got my pins to tack it to the wall (Skippy climbing on the chair to help me) and filled it up with little surprises, and on weekends something extra.
And now we can enjoy :)
Every year I think I will be a little less excited about christmas, surely as I am getting older, but seriously I am still just one big kid about it! Why not? Christmas is such as awesome time, it shouldn't be stressful, figuring out with to get people, it should be fun. Buying gifts for people and thinking about how they will look when they open up what they got. I love it, seriously love it. And I know this year is going to be no different for how excited I am going to get, well how excited I am already. It's Sunday and I was up at 7 smiling, that says it all.
