Another rainy day.......

Well two days back at work and its been....... well lets just say nice shall we......! No on a positive note christmas is great but I think that we all secretly welcome bk the routine of our lives...... okay just me then......? I do believe that routine shapes all our lives and I know that I appreciate it....... but in saying that I can say hand on heart that I would always prefer to be doing what I am right now, sat in my pj's sipping on a mug of white tea singing to Mr Loaf .....mmmm bliss. 
      Its crazy that 2012 is on our doorstep. 3 days an I will once again have to try an get use to writing a different digit at the end of each date, I've only just got use to 2011 !!! Today was a great day to just watch the world, with it raining I love watching all the girls frantically trying to shelter their straighten hair, and their fellas just being dragged unwilling along with them. I especially love watching all the families, the look of pure want for the holidays to be over so the kids will go back to school is unmissable. But me..... I just stood there and let the rain fall on my face, just listening to the soundless crowd and watch the world race by. I do just sometimes wish that the world would for just one second slow down, so we could just soak up the beauty around us. So much beauty is forgotten, people walk around with what looks like invisible coat hangers pulling down there faces, but if we actually just stopped and looked around us we would see there is so much to smile at, so much to be thankful for! But hey I think life is way to short to focus on what we haven't got and fully appreciate everything that we have, even if it is just a cuppa and some rocking wolly socks !!!! 
   Okay guys rant over. But if you are reading this I seriously suggest you take a leave out my book and know that ' a wasted youth is better by far than a wise and productive old age ' (good old meat head).
